With over 25 years as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the NHS, Ajit’s career has focused on delivering precision-driven, patient-centered surgical care. His work is defined by an unwavering commitment to improving patient outcomes and advancing medical practices that emphasise both expertise and compassion. as the founder of Medineeds Health & Wellness and Dosha Wellness, he has spearheaded initiatives that integrate modern medicine with holistic health solutions. As a highly experienced medical professional with many years of industry practise, Ajit has also had the privilege of running businesses across a variety of service-based sectors, including health and wellbeing services. These ventures reflect his  dedication to accessible and personalised care through services like diabetes management, Ayurveda-based wellness, and mindfulness programs, fostering harmony between mind, body and spirit.

Senior General Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in clinical leadership, workforce health management, and NHS service delivery. Experienced in occupational health–related decision-making including fitness-for-work assessments, sickness absence management, risk stratification, and staff wellbeing. Proven leader with strong governance, education, and multidisciplinary team management skills, seeking to lead and develop an Occupational Health service.

CLINICAL SERVICES MANAGER

Habib Farbahi was educated in Taunton, Somerset, before completing a Master’s degree in Engineering at Aston University, Birmingham.

Throughout his career, he has combined technical expertise with entrepreneurial experience, establishing and leading a number of successful businesses, including a garden centre in Taunton. His work has spanned both the private and public sectors, giving him extensive experience in business development, investment, project delivery and strategic leadership.

As the elected councillor for West Taunton, Habib is committed to creating opportunities that strengthen local communities and support sustainable economic growth. He has successfully delivered a wide range of public and private sector projects and has worked alongside multidisciplinary teams on strategic policy development, economic regeneration and political strategy, helping to shape initiatives that deliver long-term benefits for residents, businesses and public services. His approach is founded on collaboration, innovation and practical delivery, bringing together local government, businesses, investors and community organisations to unlock opportunities and achieve lasting outcomes for Somerset.

Mr Nayar is a recently retired Managing Director at a leading international financial institution (CITIGROUP), with over 35 years experience managing large global teams across business operations and technology. At Citigroup, he has directed complex strategic programs, streamlined enterprise-wide processes and delivered major technology transformations. He now offers his expertise in governance, transformation and operational excellence to support worthwhile initiatives in both the public and private sectors.

VENUJI BANDARA

A highly motivated MSc Physician Associate with a First-Class Honours BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science, bringing over two years of clinical experience across a wide range of hospital specialties. With a strong foundation in laboratory science, data analysis, statistics, mathematical reasoning and quantitative methods, she combines evidence-based clinical practice with analytical expertise. In addition, she has over seven years of experience in community pharmacy, holding an NVQ Level 2 for Dispensing Assistants, alongside more than two years of restaurant management experience, where she developed strong leadership, financial management and quality assurance skills.
